kdesrc-build software package provides tool for building KDE from its source repositories, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kdesrc-build
kdesrc-build is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kdesrc-build package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kdesrc-build *
You will get with kdesrc-build package name, version, architecture and description in a table
